Who are The Rainmakers?
The Rainmakers was started in 2002 by Ben Way, it was created to help develop new technologies and exploit existing technologies on the internet. Over the years it grew into one of the leading innovation companies creating ground breaking technologies and innovations including medical devices, telecoms devices, environmental technologies and robotics.
Ben Way

Ben is one of the leading entrepreneurs in the UK, with well
over a decade of business experience and nearly 15 years in technology
he is considered a leading voice on technology and innovation. He is in
the media spotlight for both his expertise and his pro social work
which covers everything from developing new environmental technologies
to appearing on television shows such as The Secret Millionaire.
Even with such a demanding schedule he stills finds time doing what he
is best at; inventing and works personally with clients of the
Rainmakers to make sure that they get his full expertise and ability to
deliver complicated, demanding projects successfully.

Imran Hakim
Imran Hakim is best known as one of the most successful individuals to
gain investment from BBC’s Dragon’s Den after he pitched his innovative
iTeddy product idea. After securing investment on the programme, Imran has
gone on to work with both Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones to successfully
launch the award-winning iTeddy and associated license platform in over 40
countries worldwide including every major UK toy retailer.
He has won countless business awards over the years in recognition of his
numerous endeavours including North West Young Entrepreneur of the Year
2006, Fusion Entrepreneur of the Year 2007, Young Emerging Talent 2008 and
most recently a Mosaic Award for Science and Technology awarded to him by
HRH Prince of Wales. His work on the iTeddy brand has earned him further
awards such as Toy Inventor of the Year 2007 and World Toy Innovation 2008,
Start-up Business of the Year 2008 and IoD’s Northwest Young Director of the
Year 2008.
